I had made plans with my friend Puan Kamariah and her husband, Encik Khairy to visit the Herb Garden in Batu Gajah this week. This was the first visit for Encik Khairy. As for me this was the umpteenth visit as I enjoy looking at all the herbs found there. Puan Kamariah too had been to this place before. Unfortunately we felt rather disappointed as quite a number of the plants had died and the labels for some of them were faded and there were a few of the plants that were labelled wrongly. The place was not what it was like during our previous visits. Hopefully, the people in charge would do something to maintain the plants, improve on the labelling and upgrade the facilities. I will share more pictures the herbs taken during my Herb Garden visit in days to come.
VERSI BAHASA MELAYU
Saya dan kawan-kawan saya, Puan Kamariah dan suaminya, Encik Khairy melawat Taman Herba Batu Gajah pada hari Selasa minggu ini. Ini merupakan lawatan pertama Encik Khairy. Manakala Puan Kamariah dan saya pernah ke sana banyak kali.
Pada lawatan kali ini, kami berdua berasa kecewa kerana terdapat pokok-pokok yang mati atau dalam keadaan yang tidak sihat. Ada pokok yang silap dilabel dan ada label yang sudah rosak. Tempat itu tidak seperti dahulu.
Adalah harapan kami bahawa pihak pentadbiran Taman Herba Batu Gajah berusaha untuk membuat penambahbaikan kepada tempat ini.
Saya akan berkongsi gambar-gambar herba yang ditangkap semasa lawatan saya dalam beberapa post yang akan datang.
