MAKING A HERBAL PILLOW FROM LEMUNI LEAVES
The teacher in charge of the Herb Garden in my school did a major pruning of the Legundi/Lemuni tree on Wednesday morning. When I saw all the branches, I decided to pluck the leaves to make into a herbal pillow. I also got my library assistant to do the same. It would be a waste to just throw the leaves away, wouldn't it?
This is a great remedy to help relieve or prevent headaches.

Hello Lina,
I'm so happy I found your blog on kampung herbs, it's truly inspiring.
I've recently discovered the lemuni plant and have fallen in love with it ever since. There's a gorgeous lemuni tree in Penang on Carnavon street inside the police station compound which had just been chopped down few days ago!! I'm totally devastated by the sight of the dead tree but thanks so much for the idea of making a herbal pillow from lemuni leaves, hopefully there are still something left for me to salvaged. My friend and I managed to take the clippings which thankfully had survived and now waiting for them to root and hopefully grow into a beautiful tree.
Hopefully I get to meet you in person one day and visit the lovely herb garden in your school to learn more about our local herbs.
Lijynn
